As an important raw material in the current metallurgical industry, the consumption of manganese ore in metallurgical production has been increasing annually. The single-process beneficiation technology is a relatively simple beneficiation process, which includes four main methods: washing, gravity separation, magnetic separation, and flotation.

1. Washing Process Technology

In washing operations, it is often conducted in conjunction with ore screening. In actual production, the main methods include the following two: ① Vibrating the raw ore on a vibrating screen, followed by direct washing with water; ② Screening the washed ore using a vibrating screen. In actual production, washing is an essential processing method for every manganese oxide beneficiation plant, and the enriched ore can be directly used in metallurgical production after washing.

2. Gravity Separation Process Technology

In manganese ore gravity separation processing, equipment such as jigs (primarily used for coarse and medium-grain ore separation) and shaking tables (primarily used for fine-grain material separation) are generally employed. In actual production, this process offers advantages such as low investment and low costs. Therefore, when gangue minerals have high density, enterprises typically prioritise this process. 3. Magnetic Separation Process Technology

3. Magnetic Separation Process

Magnetic separation is a traditional process that uses magnetic equipment to separate manganese ore materials. In actual production, this technology has the drawback of high initial investment costs; however, it also has the advantages of low production consumption, simple operation, easy equipment control, and strong adaptability for various types of ore production, making it commonly used in current mineral processing.

4. Flotation Process Technology

Flotation is a mineral processing method; however, due to the poor floatability of manganese oxide ore materials, coupled with the high cost of the flotation process and its challenging operational control, this technology remains in the research phase at present.
