Cyanidation method is one of the main methods of gold ore beneficiation. Generally, cyanidation methods can be divided into two categories: stirred cyanidation and percolation cyanidation. Among them, stirred cyanidation is mainly used to treat flotation gold concentrate, or full mud cyanidation; while percolation cyanidation is mainly used to treat low-grade gold-containing oxidized ores.
Stirring cyanide gold extraction process
The gold extraction process by stirring cyanidation mainly includes two types of gold extraction processes. One is the so-called cyanide-zinc replacement process (CCD method and CCF method) in which zinc powder is used to replace and precipitate to recover gold through continuous countercurrent washing; the other is It is a filter-free cyanide carbon slurry process (CIP method and CIL method) that does not require filtration and washing, and uses activated carbon to directly absorb and recover gold from cyanide slurry.
1. Cyanide-zinc replacement process
The cyanide-zinc replacement process (CCD method and CCF method) is used to treat gold-containing noble liquor after cyanide leaching. The principle is to use zinc powder (silk) as a reducing agent to replace gold and silver from the leachate. It mainly includes countercurrent washing of solids. Liquid separation, leachate purification, deoxidation, zinc powder (silk) replacement operations.
◆ Countercurrent washing solid-liquid separation:
Separate the cyanated precious liquid (leaching liquid) from the solid.
◆ Purification of leachate:
Remove the suspended solids in the precious liquid (leaching liquid) so that the gold-containing noble liquid entering the replacement operation reaches a clear and transparent state.
◆Deoxygenation:
Remove dissolved oxygen from your liquor (leaching liquor).
◆ Zinc powder (silk) replacement:
Use zinc powder (wire) to replace the precious metals in the precious liquid (leaching liquid) to form gold (silver) mud.
2. Carbon slurry gold extraction process
The carbon slurry gold extraction process (CIP method and CIL method) is to put activated carbon into cyanide slurry, adsorb the dissolved gold on the activated carbon, and then extract the gold from the activated carbon. It mainly includes leaching raw material preparation, stirring leaching and countercurrent flow. Carbon adsorption, gold-loaded carbon desorption, electrowinning electrolysis, smelting ingot making, carbon regeneration and other operations.
