Usually, a complete set of sulfide flotation process equipment mainly includes raw material feed hopper, chute feeder, primary jaw crusher, fine jaw crusher, vibrating screen, belt conveyor, vibrating feeder, storage bin, ball mill, spiral classifier, mixing tank, flotation machine, mud pump, concentrator, disc vacuum filter.
This sulfide ore concentrator is suitable for processing sulfide gold, copper, silver, zinc, lead, fluorite and other ores, and has a high recovery rate for sulfide minerals. Depending on the material conditions, it can usually reach about 85-90%.
Fully sulfide rock gold and copper flotation process equipment includes four major systems:
Crushing system
The chute feeder is to feed the raw materials to the coarse jaw crusher stably and evenly. It can feed 0-300mm stones. If the size and capacity are larger, a grid vibrating feeder can be used. Then the primary jaw crusher crushes the big rocks into smaller sizes, about 0-80 mm. The output is sent to the fine jaw crusher, which is crushed again to particles below 25 mm. But there are still some +25mm particles, so it is better to send it to the vibrating screen to screen out 0-25mm to the ball mill grinding system. +25mm goes back to the fine crushing again. The feed particle size of the ball mill can be smaller, the smaller the better, and the grinding efficiency will be much higher. So sometimes, there will be 3-stage crushers in the crushing system to make smaller feed sizes (0-5mm or 0-8mm or 0-10mm) for the ball mill.
Grinding system
The 0-25mm material goes into the storage bin before entering the ball mill, so as long as there is enough 0-25mm material in the storage bin, the crushing system can work separately from the grinding system. Then the 0-25mm material is sent to the ball mill through a swing feeder or an electromagnetic vibrating feeder through a belt conveyor. Ball mill is used to grind materials into fine powder. Because the flotation process requires 200 mesh materials, it needs to be used in conjunction with a spiral classifier. The output from the overflow port of the classifier reaches 200 mesh, and the coarse particles in the bottom flow will return to the ball mill for grinding, forming a closed circuit. So 200 mesh slurry will be obtained from this grinding system.
Flotation system
The 200 mesh slurry is first sent to the mixing tank by the slurry pump to fully mix the materials, and then enters the flotation machine from the mixing tank. Different reagents need to be added to the flotation machine to separate different minerals. The flotation process has primary selection, secondary selection, and final selection. This is to increase the grade of the mineral to the maximum. If a higher grade is required, it needs to float more times. After the flotation system, each concentrate ore is obtained.
Concentrate filtration system
After obtaining the mineral concentrate from the flotation system, for higher-grade minerals such as copper, zinc, lead, and fluorite, the concentrator is used to concentrate to make the density higher, and then sent to the disc vacuum filter to filter the water and obtain more dry concentrate. Then it can be dried in the sun or dried in a dryer to get a completely dry mineral concentrate.
This sulfide ore flotation plant is very effective in recovering sulfide minerals. It is also suitable for flotation and mineral processing of sulfide silver, zinc, lead, fluorite, copper and gold ores. The ore dressing plant has high efficiency and high recovery rate, and is especially effective for fine-grained ores, which can obtain high-quality concentrates and make full use of mineral resources. The design of sulfide flotation process equipment can be customized according to rock mineral conditions, and the capacity can be provided in small, medium and large capacities according to requirements.
